DE-ADDICTION - REHABILITATION PROGRAM.

Shuddhi Project' of Kalimpong District Police identifies victims of Drugs/substance abuse who belong to lower economic strata of the society such that they cannot afford a de-addiction - rehabilitation program.

In collaboration with Himalayan Anti Aids & Anti Narcotic Drugs Society(HANDS) since 30th April 2022 till date total 100 such candidates have been sent for rehabilitation free-of-cost, out of which 72 are leading a clean life.

Today as a celebration of 365 days in joyful recovery a felicitation program of 09 (nine) Shuddhi patients was organised at H.A.N.D.S for completing 1st year in Soberity. For people who are in recovery from substance or alcohol use, the definition of sobriety is similar to the definition of abstinence. It means living a life free of drug or alcohol use. Say 'No' to Drugs 'Yes' to life
