CHOOSE LIFE, NOT DRUGS!

As part of Kalimpong District Police’s Shuddhi initiative to fight against drugs, an indoor gym was inaugurated on 22/02/2024, with the support of HANDS Kalimpong at St. Margaret Mary’s Church, Barbot, Pabringtar GP under Reang Police Station. This was followed by an awareness programme on the evils of drug abuse where 150 students of Anuj SUMI and Barbot Higher Secondary School participated. Mr Palden Tamang and Mr Prayogti Kumai, senior counsellors from HANDS, also spoke on the issue of drugs at length and motivated students to stay away from substance abuse. Choose life, not drugs!
