8th Raising Day celebration of Kalimpong District

Kalimpong District Police celebrated its 8th Raising Day on 14/02/2024. The celebrations began with the hoisting of the District Flag by the Superintendent of Police, Kalimpong, followed by distribution of letters of appreciation to officers and force who had performed exceptionally well in the areas of investigation, suicide prevention, flood rescue and traffic management in the past year.

An inter unit Badminton Tournament was also organised, followed by prize distribution to the winning units. The celebration ended with a lunch organised by the district police with the children of Bal Suraksha Abhiyan and members of Pahal Kalimpong.
