Repentance

Shuddhi project of Kalimpong District Police identifies victims of substance abuse who belong to lower economic strata of the society such that they cannot afford a de-addiction - rehabilitation program. In collaboration with Himalayan Anti-Aids and Anti-Narcotic Drugs Society (HANDS) in 2022-2023, 89 such candidates have been sent for rehabilitation free-of-cost, out of which 63 are leading a clean life till date. Henry is candidate number 22 of the Shuddhi project. He has been leading a drug-free life since August 2022.
