On 02.09.2023, one Rakesh Biswakarma resident of Convent Gate, attacked his own sister with a sharp cutting weapon and injured her grievously.The reason was a dispute over property.A case was registered by the victims son. SI Saran Sarki took up investigation and arrested the accused, seized the weapon and completed the investigation in a record period of 13 days and submitted chargesheet. Thereafter he followed the trial of the case regularly and today Ld Kalimpong District Court convicted the accused Rakesh Biswakarma with 8 years rigorous imprisonment.
