ACCUSED CONVICTED

1. On 06.06.23 Jaldhaka PS received a complaint against one Ranjit Pradhan of Jholung who had married the victim a year ago and had been torturing her since. The torture was so severe that victim received severe burn injuries. SI SS Bedi took over the investigation and completed it and ensured that his trial is completed at the earliest. On 01.12.2023 Ld. Kalimpong Court awarded life imprisonment to the accused.
