On 09/07/2022, there had been a complaint at Women PS that a minor girl aged 14 years had been sexually assaulted by one Jiten Khawas multiple times.LSI Shovna Sewa of Women PS immediately took up investigation and arrested the accused. On completion of trial, the accused has been awarded rigorous imprisonment for 14 years along with Rs. 10,000/- fine by Ld. Court at Kalimpong.Congratulations to LSI Shovna Sewa and Team Women PS for delivering justice to the victim.
