On 19/01/2018, it was reported to Kalimpong PS that a few days back, a 13 years old minor girl was sexually assaulted by her uncle Digam Giri at teesta after offering her "Thumbs Up" drink mixed with drugs.SI Saran Sarki of Teesta CP started the investigation and arrested the accused. On completion of trial, the accused has been awarded rigorous imprisonment for 8 years along with Rs. 5,000/- fine by Ld. Court at Kalimpong. Congratulations to SI Saran Sarki for delivering justice to the victim.
