Kalimpong District Police felicitated 7 braveheart saviours of Kalimpong district who risked their lives for search and rescue operations of accident victims on NH 10 & Teesta river.

They were honoured with Appreciation letters, customary "Khada" and token monetary reward by District Magistrate Kalimpong, Smt. R. Bimla, I.A.S.

Two of the braveheart saviours had also been inducted into Civic Volunteer Force of Kalimpong to recognise their dedicated service.
