Kalimpong District Police is observing a Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention fortnight from 15th July to 30th July. As part of this initiative, Kalimpong District Police has teamed up with BSA and Anugalaya and conducted awareness programmes involving students of schools, GP members and local Samaj. The awareness programme covered 24 remotest GPs of the district in Kalimpong, Lava, Pedong and Gorubathan blocks and was very well received by the participants.

As we approach July 30, which is observed as the World Day against Trafficking in Persons, let us all take a pledge to #StopHumanTrafficking.
