A Safe Drive Save Life Awareness Programme was organised in different Police Stations of Kalimpong district. On 13/07/24, a Safe Drive Save Life Rally in presence of DySP ( HQ), DySP DIB and other officers of the district was organised with the participation of different syndicate drivers of kalimpong town. This was followed by a Free eye checkup camp at Town Hall Kalimpong.

On 15/07/24, an advisory meeting was held at Gorubathan PS with the School bus drivers cum owners, Pool car drivers/owners, School staffs and Local Taxi Associations along with OC Traffic, Gorubathan area and they were briefed regarding school bus safety advisory.

A similar programme was held at Jaldhaka PS as well.
