A community policing program was organized on 01.06.2024 by Sh. Vikramjit Lama, SDPO Gorubathan, Sh. Dalim Adhikary CI Gorubathan, SI Mitra Dewan OC Jaldhaka and SI Madhuran Tamang of Jaldhaka PS, for the aged and senior citizens of Kumai and Samsing GP areas under Jaldhaka PS jurisdiction. The program titled "PRANAM" is a tribute to the senior citizens and and was held by Jaldhaka PS, Kalimpong District Police in association with Medical Officer and medical and nursing team of Paren PHC, Jaldhaka. A "Free Health Check Up" was organized for the elderly persons under the "PRANAM" program. The program was a success with healthy participation and attendance of the elderly persons of the local tea garden belt area who were all checked medically and medical advice and free medicines given by the medical team.
